Hated Webbie as a rapper but the production on Savage Life is far better than Best Thang Smokin

Being from Atlanta.. Dro's is more semtimental to me.. but realistically Savage Life had more songs I rocked with.

“Savage life” was a far better album.

“Best Thang Smokin” had some fun, even good songs on it, but just felt like a bunch of songs thrown together without a care in the world lol. “Savage Life” didn’t have much of a theme either but the production made it a lot more cohesive.

The production didn’t age well either. “Savage Life” had filler but it didn’t feel like filler, while BTS had some of the worst of the 2000’s “pimp my ride” production. BTS was HUGE disappointment for me when I bought it. Felt like they were trying to sell me more on the producers, and chase hits, instead of just showcasing who Young Dro is. I would have been better off hearing a compilation of his features, that would have been a classic.
