Think about it.
Slavery = hair wraps, Post slavery = straightening/pressed hair, then afros/jerry curl , then back to straight hair in the 90s but with weaves.
This is probably the only time in history when masses of black women are actually wearing their natural textures.
That was literally like it was like for me going natural because no one else in my family was and they all talked shyt
