No. What Minister Farrakhan said was, "if you refuse to live with us peacefully, then go your way and we'll go ours, BUT give us the resources to be able to live the same way you do. Don't just take our resources while trying to separate from us."
Again, this area GIVES resources to the greater BR? Baton Rouge leaders should be able to attract businesses, but not without work (better schools and lower crime).

Many places in Jersey are like this. NJ is lowkey one of the most legally segregated states in the country while simultaneously being one of the most diverse states. We have suburban municipalities that are literally 6 blocks long, for tax allocation reasons :mjpls: that's one of the ways we always are highly rated for our school systems....we cook the books via redistricting.

I didn't realize it was so bad until I interned as constituent assistant in the NJ state house. Its one of the reasons I decided not to pursue politics. This whole shyt gotta burn down to fix things.

Nothing new. Grew up in Jackson, MS. Saw hella white flight/new surburbs sprawl up for years (Madison, Flowood, Byram, Glucksdat, etc.)

Not to mention this CCID they’ve been trying to establish since last year:

I remember leaving Jackson and hitting the line for Flowood and the streets are instantly freshly paved and the high school looked like a damn castle.
