What's up to my Coli Canucks, eh? I had to do a project with Statistique Canada data and decided I would give you the Coli demography treatment. I went through Canada's Census Tracts to find the highest income Black areas. I ran into some issues but I think I have something you can tell me if it is right or if it is BS.
First, Canada is much less segregated than the US. Very few census tracts north of the border are majority Black---none overwhelmingly so. Second, Canada doesn't directly track income by race like the US so I had to basically find high income areas that were at least 25% Black and hope that at least part of the Black population has similar incomes. So here it goes, let me know how you feel.

Top reported Black ethnicity - Jamaican
The top two highest income census tracts with substantial Black population were both in Ajax in Durham, Ontario. Primarily Black people listing Jamaican origin. I don't know much about the area but I grabbed some pics.

I was about to call BS about there being a well-off area of Black folks in northern Alberta but when I realized it was Fort Mac I am guessing they work in the oil sands--which is lucrative I know since I used to travel to Calgary and Alberta for work in a past life. Mostly Horners but some Nigerians too.

Another top location in the GTA, this seems more centrally located than Ajax. Don't know much about it beside it being near the Zoo area.

Highest income area in Québec with overwhelmingly Haitians as the main Black population group. Part of the largest suburb in Montréal

There is/was a Black woman councillor representing this area so it seems pretty legit?

There are some other areas--mostly in Toronto, another in Montreal and even one in Ottawa before the income levels drop off. Let me know what you think, even if it is "this is garbage"
