Would've been perfect timing imagine an NWO with HBK as the leader with Hall and Nash. Then they could of had the HBK vs Bret mega-match after the screwjob.

Nash and Hall should've kicked Hogan out of the NWO and brought HBK in as the leader the new third man. WCW not turning Hogan back face was one of the dumbest things they did.

IMO..what killed WCW was the invincibility of the NWO and the predictability factor of it all. The fact that you never got a sense that a face would legitimately beat the NWO. Out of their entire 2 year run on top.. only Goldberg and Sting gave you an inkling of a thought that maybe they would conquer them..and we all saw what happened with that Yea stacking the odds against the babyface has been a winning formula since the beginning of this shyt, but at some point it's like it has to be a payoff..and the face has to win in the end at some point.

Hogan was great in the nwo but it became stale and they needed to turn him face. HBK would've been the perfect heel to take over and would've made sense with Hall and Nash bringing him in. HBK vs Bret would've been bigger then anything could've put out at the time
