Devils beat the leafs in back to back playoffs (2000 and 2001) we gave you a good challenge in the playoffs but ultimately you won because you were the better and more complete team.You
devils back then could beat a team in every way. Your defense was elite (Stevens-Rafalski -niedermayer, and elite goaltender brodeur acting as a third defenseman with his puckhandling)and the potency of your offense was underrated. Everyone said that you were a boring defense minded team that had trouble scoring , but you had prime mogilyn/Elias /arnott/sykora/Gomez upfront.

Perry wanted to sign with the leafs before the 2021 season, but Toronto didn’t want him. Dubas chose to sign Simmonds instead.
Since we snubbed him, Perry finds ways to take revenge on us , first he « accidentally »hurts Tavares in the 2021 montreal series and helps the Habs to eliminate us in the first round again. Then he signs with the lightning and eliminates us again last year. Then last night in game 1 he records 3 points and helps Tampa to win game 1 7-3 .
Simmonds was good during his Philadelphia flyers days but he is past his prime now.

Weve already had a double OT game & some upsets..best post season in pro sports 
I got Toronto & Edmonton in the finals. I think this post season will be the start of some Canadian teams finally winning the cup again. Leafs and Oilers are loaded I think they’re about to start winning multiple chips. Ottawa & Calgary waiting in the cut as well

Tampa bay is the team with the second best record at home in the nhl, just behind the Boston bruins. They were 28-8-5 at home during the regular season. They were ass on the road though, away from home they had a very mediocre 18-22-4 record.
If the leafs lose game 2 I think they will get swept. I don’t see Toronto winning all 3 games in tampa. It will be nearly impossible to do it.
Tomorrow is a must win game.
