I cannot WAIT for Jermaine to pop out again on some tough guy shyt. Gonna be hilarious. I listened to the diss earlier today...I forgot how much weird violent imagery was in the track lol. You think rapping about your (North Carolina) hood nikkas calling you and asking if it's time to get busy was a good idea when dissing a west coast nikka? Even Drake was smart enough not to say shyt like that.
The funniest thing is that this dude is such a fan who just happened to become successful. Kendrick basically had the career he dreamed of having when he was writing rhymes in his room pretending to be Nas. Classic debut album, classic followup, big mainstream album (with some "real hip hop" mixed in), epic rap battle victory. Not saying Kendrick is the GOAT but that's how a GOAT resume looks, whether you hit some or all the bullet points (see: Nas, Jay, Biggie, Pac etc). Meanwhile lil homie from the Ville gonna be known for rapping about losing his virginity and apologizing during a rap battle.

Cole was never really in the discussion. Drake had the commercial success, Kendrick the critical success.
Cole was just... the 3rd biggest rapper and we gave him that slot, thats it. But we have all seen debates about rapper X potentially taking Cole's spot, he never really had a solidified spot.
