Spence told Garcia during press build-up for the fight that Danny was one dimensional and only waits to counter. That is what happened too. I knew Danny couldn't outbox Spence for 12 rounds, and his only way to victory would have to be by KO depending on how Spence will look after the car accident.

it was a pretty entertaining bout, Spence didn't box him but trusted his chin and got the w, the most relevant new information out of this is Spence being back to his pre-accident form which is good, let's hope these dudes put their huge egos on the side a little and try to make this fight happen. Them going about how they don't needthe other one is not a good sign though.

Canelo gets a lot of flack from fans, some of it is deserved but at least the dude as THE A-side guy in the sport is actively calling out other champions who are lesser names than him to unify, doesn't act like he's too cool for this shyt anymore, doesn't think he can just lay back cause his legacy is good enough already so he doesn't have to prove himself anymore.

You never call someone out. You make it so that they need you and when you fight they get a lower %. Bud doesn't sell tickets. Spence is a big name in boxing.

Neither of them are a big name to casuals. Someone needs to teach the current boxers how to hype a fight. This is why the heavyweight scene is popping righy now because they call out who they want. And a call out does nothing to negotiations.

Spence vs Bud is happening soon as Bud leaves Top Rank. Let’s end the bullshyt right there from his last fight ESPN was promoting it like it was his last fight with Top Rank until it was announced he’s signed until October 2021. Considering the way Old man Bob was talking about him it’s a very bad look and most people defended Bud. It’s a bad to promote the fight leaving that part out especially when we know what the hold up is. We can’t be ignorant to it. Bud showing up last night was corny for that but good for the exposure for him. 2022 is like sooner than later especially since we are in December now. ESPN and Top Rank might have Bud fight two to three times until the contract over. All of that goes out the window of he goes back to Top Rank. Also with Spence vs Bud I don’t see it as a situation where the winner retires after because there’s nothing to do after like how Floyd did after Manny and how Tyson Fury claims after beating AJ. Spence turns 31 next month and Bud turned 33 a few months ago. All that stated I got Spence right now because of his skill and the guys he’s fought since Kell Brook. He’s beat Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter. I also got Spence beating Thurman before he retired but he don’t deserve to get mentioned with the other guys anymore. So we have a situation where we have a group of five guys that are actively trying to fight each other and one man has separated himself by beating two of them handily and one is retired. The one he hasn’t fought won’t be available until October 2021 if he doesn’t do something stupid. All the men mentioned and alluded to are all current and former World Champions they not ducking and to me they have all of my respect. It’s evident they put work in.

yeah, but mfs need to get off that Bud aint fought nobody b.s. so he gotta fight Swift or Porter to "earn" a shot at Spence. thats b.s. he couldnt have fights with any of those guys do to promoters, you guys know that. he has earned his right to face anyone by being dominant at lower weights. If Garcia got a shot then Bud should get his shot without all the yap about who he hasnt fought at 147 when he has basically been frozen out. thats all I am saying. mfs be sabotaging fights with this nonsense. this is the same goddamn reason we never saw SRL/Hearns vs Pryor and a lot of other great fights because of propping one fighter up to a level above another to where either they feel they are too big for them stature wise, or in this case where one is going to want significantly more money to do the damn deal.

I am not mad at a man for turning down money in a negotiation. these guys are rich. they dont HAVE to do anything.

It felt like for a few rounds in a row late in the fight Spence would get lazy and Garcia would hit him with a nice shot but never tried to follow it up.

I know a few people here said Spence didn’t look as good later on especially on D but I think he knew he had the fight and that Garcia’s best punches had no affect on him.

Garcia hit him with a few flush shots and he didn’t even flinch
