I knew Hayes was gonna be a baller. As raw as he is, he’s already the best 5 defensively on the team and easily the most athletic

I knew from the eyeball test in Summer League that Hayes was gonna play.He gets a lot of doubt because of being stuck on a terrible Texas team. He has shown that he is way better than that from day one. On top of that, he plays really great unselfish team basketball.

The only hindsight move was to dump Ball, pass on Riddikk, and get Brogdon.

Cant judge an injured team off those 3 games, if they get even one win..that is great. Hayes is the only capable interior defender and he is still very raw. Those teams will feast
