It's the only reason the hype began and fans got excited. We make the trade with the Lakers without landing Zion and our fanbase would have been angry to borderline nonchalant.
I don't want to rush his comeback, but I hope he returns soon as well because damn this franchise is just in neutral without him.
I swear this the most cursed franchise in all of professional sports. Another superstar scheduling his return game against us of all teams, while another key player on a contender goes down.... AFTER they get done whooping our ass and handing us the L first of course. Can't help but laugh (and cry

The New Orleans Pelicans will be short-handed once again Saturday when they take on the Miami Heat.
On Saturday afternoon, the team downgraded guard Lonzo Ball (right adductor), guard JJ Redikk (left big toe sprain) and center Jahlil Okafor (left ankle sprain) from questionable to out.
They also downgraded forward Brandon Ingram (right knee soreness) from probable to questionable.
If Ingram sits against Miami, the Pelicans could be down seven players.
