Griffin needs to call Joakim Noah, Pels need something on defense because this is just embarrassing.

Maybe it is Gentry but the duo of Melli/Okafor without Favors and Zion out there is their own fault. I just feel like they need another defensive big. Hayes is not ready yet on that side. Gentry will probably get this year and might even get the next one. If he does bad in both then I see him being fired. They were trash on defense the past 2 years WITH AD and Jrue playing at an all-defensive 1st team level; geriatric Noah ain't helping shyt. Our problems are culture and coaching oriented; pathetic communication and awareness from the players coupled with nonsensical ass schemes and lineups from the coaching staff. I remember even when he was healthy this dumbass team had Favors out roaming the perimeter playing all the way out nowhere near the rim just to maybe start a potential fastbreak half a second quicker while even G-league level scrubs could walk straight to the basket unopposed . And don't even get me started on putting Ingram on fukking Porzingis (even tho he did admirably)
I think they will eventually trade him, right now it is still that "we got you for being loyal to us" phase. Same with Westbrook and OKC. Pels will trade Reddikk before deadline for sure and get a free pick if their record continues to be trashMan, I'm so pissed the Pacers weren't shopping either of their bigs in earnest this past offseason. If we could've flipped Jrue for Myles Turner... an Ingram-Zion-Turner frontcourt would be dominant and fit like a glove together. But this fool had to go and tank his value through the floor, now we'd be lucky to get Jarret Allen or Bobby Portis for him
I knew that this would be Griffin's first real test as GM, that is if his personal history and past with Gentry was gonna give him cold feet if and when it came time to put him out to pasture. It's been time now, so if he's truly about what's best for the team and building a championship organization then he better know what comes next....
It might just be the fast paced play that is causing struggles..because Zo and Jrue have not done a good job either
Again this team playing like they just met each other, again Gentry should be home before Zion comes back, don't ruin that boy like that
