Pelicans gonna end up keeping Jrue lol
Had me worried for a second but good win
Despite the admirable effort at one point we managed to pulled out the win in the end. If Jrue can show up like he did tonight against the few remaining games we have left against good teams and this team as a whole can commit to playing half decent defense for at least 2 full quarters we can still make it into the postseason... we'll see if that's asking too much soon enough.

Ever since Zo publicly said "I'm finally starting to get my legs back under me" or something similar he's actually been living up to those pre-draft J Kidd comparisons; young man been on fire. If he finally gets a full healthy offseason before training camp with no nagging injury BS I think he's going to make an even more massive jump next year than he has this season already...

Zion still not able to get looks in 4th continues to be a problem
His first shot was him coming out to free throw line and then rolling to rim, Gentry needs to tell him to stop posting up and do that more. Teams are doing a good job at not allowing him to post up in 4th.
Also that lineup with Melli as 5 was horrible, Wolves had a wide open lane. Pelicans will need to get a better backup big this summer.
Jrue was great all game and Lonzo was amazing in the clutch, it was nice to see him take over scoring wise

You know those games where we get behind an early lead and grind our way to tie, but never can breakthrough with a lead. That's how I feel about the 8th seed.
We need to go on a 5-7 game win streak to really solidify our chances. Those 3 loses to GSW and Minn look really bad.
