I already knew Jrue wasn't going to get traded but I'm surprised that Griff didn't trade Moore or Frank to a contender for some picks or something:francis:

And let's be real we've played like 7 games now with Zion and a healthy lineup, can't go too long without an injury to the team :manny::unimpressed:

This is the real reason why holding Jrue hostage to blindly push for a playoff spot 10 games under .500 is unforgivably stupid. For that to even be a .1% possibility you are hedging all hopes that EVERYONE is healthy for the entire rest of the season. When literally every member of the starting 5 has missed time already this season; 3 of them a significant amount of time at that. Griffin hired the damn medical staff so he knows what they’re capable of and what the odds are that our team will ever be that healthy for that long a span of time.

Just completely irresponsible and boneheaded all around. Gonna fukk up our draft pick in the process of this doomed playoff push too, a pick in the weakest draft of the century thus far to boot :smh:

How long yall wanna tank?
just no way this team is making playoffs this year, trading Jrue wouldn't be tanking..just trusting the young guns and letting them run the show fully. I like Favors and Redikk on this team. You need to add guys who have a specific role, cant have another ball dominant guy next to Lonzo/Ingram/Zion. All 3 need the ball

Bruh like I said... we’re 10 games under .500 WITH Jrue and the vets :francis: This team isn’t even a year removed from losing its franchise superstar. The fact that we could somewhat entertain hopes of playoff basketball at all this season, after all the injuries, is a victory (and product of EXTREME luck). But now those hopes are unarguably exposed as nothing but that: blind, irresponsible hope. And a smart front office will accept that reality and adjust accordingly, because even if we somehow make the playoffs we aren’t escaping the first round anyway. Which means our energy should be focused on the future so that we won’t be first round fodder anymore.

Ya'll not making bad points, but, none of our problems scream "Trade Jrue right now"

It is tanking when we swear chucking the best vet we have out of here is the best plan going forward after Zion hasn't even played 10 games

Remember firing Monty?

Remember extending AD? Then Omer Asik?

This team has made dumbass "win now" decisions and keeping Jrue isn't one.

I don't see a deal out there and neither do the Zack Lowe's of the world. We need young players, not rookies.

We not getting a high pick this summer. Even still, we got picks beyond next year.

I hate how we pick another person bi-weekly who's the problem. BI, Josh Hart, Gentry, Lonzo, Jrue

We just lost to the best defensive team in the league

I am not on the trade him now bandwagon but I definitely would want to move him before next season. Its not that Jrue is a bad player, he requires the ball in his hand. You got 4 guys in the starting 5 who want to have the ball in their hands lol. You just need a 3 and D guy..a Danny Green type of player would be a much better fit. I also think Griffin should trade some picks to improve the bench, etc. No reason in hoarding so many picks and all these young guys. Already have a great group.

I’m highly disappointed Jrue isn’t getting moved :unimpressed:

Every team we're competing with for the 8th spot either stayed the same or improved significantly. We've done nothing to improve our team to give ourselves an advantage over any of them for the rest of this season, and we've refused to pivot from our main tradeable asset when his value is at it's absolute highest and commit to the rebuild everyone knows is coming when we're 10 games below .500 and obviously out of playoff contention (don't listed to the loathsome idiots that make up our local media: the second the offseason hits Beal will rocket back up to undisputed #1 asset, while Jrue will lose another chunk of his already lost value from the past summer). Didn't get rid of any of our expirings that aren't returning next season either, so we'll just go into the WOAT free agency of the 21st century with useless cap space to overpay guys who don't deserve it like Favors.

These bums made one decent trade to get rid of Solomon Hill... then promptly refused to play one of the 2 players they got in return for him outside of summer league... and have done literally jack shyt since. No trades when we were on the 13 game losing streak and obviously in need of reinforcement, not even the threat of a much needed coaching change, no trades now when we're apparently trying to make an impossible 10+ game playoff push... nothing. Unless something major changes in less than 20 minutes... absolutely pathetic:unimpressed:
