Man I had met a few real ass dudes who moved to Detroit at that time, most already had family here. Police forces made it a big ass headline back then, shyt was crazy as fukk at that time. We had a couple thousand people from Louisiana move here and it took them a long time to realise how Detroit really was.
Til this day I'm cool with 10+ people who moved here after Katrina. Them boys doing real good now.

Yea one dude from NO shot up a house and hit like 6 people in early 2006, them boys was out here wilding too. I got family down there, whole family was born in the New Orleans area, my Grandma moved here in the early 60's and now we got a couple hundred family members up here now.
I love Louisiana though, the whole environment is different. Street nikkas down there loved to tell and hear hood stories from a Detroit perspective. I can't wait to go down there again.
