Btw, just so there's no confusion, as a first generation immigrant, I do not believe I should be entitled to 1cent of ADOS reparations.

Also, as a citizen of the US for almost a decade now, I believe this country has a duty and a responsibility to give reparations to ADOS. And there really is not a good argument against doing it.

Logical translation. One buffoon said something controversial, so it's time to abandon all other Black people in the world because one outlier c00n said something.... How does that even make sense?!

:dahell:

Leave these type of losers alone. Instead of parading them online like they are spokesmen and representatives for all Black non Americans.

It's really that simple. Nothing to be going back n forth about. Agree with both points.

I’m genuinely interested to hear the retort to the points that were made in respond to the initial question.

Logistically how would you determine who is eligible?

Who is responsible for paying, and how do you determine their eligibility for repayment?

Not because I don’t believe in reparations, I would love to be paid, but because I honestly just don’t know the answer

Reparations is an ongoing distraction, nothing more. I'm surprised it has been drawn out for so many years. :francis: While folks are talking, gathering, etc. about reparations, issues such as the quality of schools, parent/teacher relationships, community resources, black wealth, starting brick-and-mortar businesses, family and a whole host of issues go on the backburner. Meanwhile, every other group is surpassing us which makes our wealth and political power continue to get worse.

People imagine that we will all get a million dollar check.

I'd take it.

But do the math. Let's say 20 million people qualify.

That's $20 trillion. Damn near the whole GDP for the US for a year.

Just the sheer number alone let's you know the odds.

Same odds as someone with 300 credit score spending every penny they make next year on cleaning up bad debt.

Ask @ORDER_66 and @TripleAgent who say no study into this is needed and they just need to cut the check.
