Yup. Women who try to get a big ass don't only do squats. They do glute crab walks with resistance bands, glute kickbacks, hip thrusts, etc.Probably because the quads and hammies are doing a lot of the work if not all. A lot of peoples glutes are turned "off" because they sit so much, so when people squat their other muscles do the work (hence people developing back issues as well)
Glute activation is key but a lot of people, especially a lot of the ig trainers don't know that because they don't really do the knowledge that a actual trainer goes through.
They also are not as lean as men (women naturally have more body fat than men), so some fat goes to their ass.
