2008: Obama runs on massive change, has insane wins, has the house and a senate super majority

Runs business as usual and bailed out big business.

2010: Loses midterms, gets shellacked. Signs in the ACA, which is better than before but is still a corporate giveaway

2012: Makes some ground back but again, nothing fundamentally changes

2016: We could've had the Biden vs Bernie primary and Obama makes the call for Joe to step down to make Hillary the candidate.

2020: When it looks like Bernie is pulling ahead Obama makes the call for every other Dem to drop out and endorse a Biden who was already showing signs of his brain missing.

2024: Lectures black men about misogyny while the black male vote is the same.

Now we are at his vice presidents vice president taking a historic L because the Obama coalition fell apart chasing corporate interests over policies that truly help people. Since he has left office he just shows up every 4 years to fukk up the bag and then makes millions on movie production. Yes you can go back to Clinton as well for starting triangulation but damn this nikka had so much momentum and we are living in the shadows of his failures to meet the moment.

I remember when LeBron ran and got Obama when the Bucks walked off the court and was gonna sit out the bubble because of the Jacob Blake shooting, and Obama wasted his time talking basketball players into playing to get LeBron another ring when there was so many other pressing matters. Obama seems like he gets off on controlling things behind the scenes. Well he’s not producing, it takes a special talent to get elected, but it takes a different kind of special talent to get others elected and he doesn’t have it

Let’s Discuss Trump’s Term:

- Favored the wealthy
- Increased financial inequality and national debt
- Sidelined traditional conservatives
- Poorly addressed social issues
- Influenced the election of unsatisfactory candidates

Both parties are left with internal divisions.

However, Trump has a new agenda that, if he follows even some of it, could wreak havoc on the nation.

LeBron James and the Bucks stood up against racism, showing how important athletes can be in fighting for change. Barack Obama supported them to help raise awareness, not just to focus on basketball. But you know this already - bot.

Yes I know this, the Dems need to run as a counter to this. Not run as a softer version of the republicans.

We have had an income inequality problem for a very long time, when dems get into power they run on making the corporate class better thinking that "a rising tide lifts all boats" - Obama

This is happening all around the planet in "western democracies", the rich keep owning more and more and the "left" parties act like giving poor people money is blasphemy. The right is at least offering something, even if its just hate.
