We need to have a dialogue about the much hyped ROH/NJPW MSG show being TRASH

even the camera shots were trash something that NJ is really good with :hhh: waste the entrance budget on a 60 yr old man and have Okada come out like a regular ass nikka :picard: my boy Rush and Bandido signed to these bums :picard: can NJ just pick up their contracts or something :mjcry:

That shot of Yano revealing that he stole the tag belts was pretty good.

But it came at the cost of actually catching their two newest signees on camera :dead:

I think it's telling that people were more positive coming off of a 13 hour Wrestlemania than the G1 show. Myself I actually gave up on the G1 show a few minutes into the ladder match and went to bed yet was able to stay up for all of WM including the pre show.

IN. I will say that Cobb vs Ospreay was a good match, seeing the Briscoes swinging dem hands on Enzo & Ass was enjoyable and both Flip and Villain Marty did get a good pop :manny: That's all I got.

RoH been garb for a decade now, sadly. But that show was an embarrassment and prove why NJPW will end their partnership as soon as AEW is viable. Biggest show in the history of the company and their portion was the worst shyt I've ever seen from them. They don't deserve to have that many eyes on their product or be in that arena. ROH desperately needs to turn over its front office. The only interesting idea Delirious has offered in 9 years is pushing Mandy Leon, and that's only so interesting for wrestling fans.

Behind on every indy worker of note since Gabe left, no interesting angles in years, their workers constantly get outshined by NJPW guys working at 3/4 speed...ROH has needed to sort themselves out for a legit half decade, but will never do so because business has never been better for them.

In their own way, they've become WWE-lite. Ain't that something. :ohhh:

I was there and there were some great matches but I agree that the roh side mostly sucked. Like all the great matches were new Japan. They should've done new japan and impact wrestling instead. Other than Jay Lethal and the briscoes, none of those other roh guys are decent to me.

I still can't get over 51 year old PCO getting powerbombed out of the ring to the fukking floor & doing an Undertaker sit up, & that insanity being immediately overshadowed because ROH brought in Enzo & Cass to do a worked shoot run in.

Killed the PCO spot, crowd was still out of it for the Tanahashi match, & on top of all that I think their supposed to be heels but they attacked the Briscoes who are heels & Bully Ray who came down & is also a heel :why:

Jeff Cobb & Bandido were the only real highlights of the whole show for ROH.

The stench of grisly death (thanks, Corny!) is contagious. I don't think the ROH/NJPW partnership will survive the AEW launch.

ROH is garbage and on life support. They’ve been pissing around for years when the 2nd spot was there for the taking. Replace the young bucks with an 800lb Cass and Enzo :mjlol:

90% of the surge in NJPW fandom in the US were due to Kenny Omega & the Young Bucks. The NJPW fans remaining were there only to see Japanese wrestlers and not ROH dreadful roster. NJPW will be secure no matter what happens here. AEW is about to cannibalize ROH
