Fans were always going to hate him. To some people he will always be known as the guy from the Real World who got embarrassed by Coral every other episode. And during his WWE Title reign he still was getting "Miz Is Awesome" chants.

I lowkey agree. Same reasons I think NXT are pretty on the button building Eva Marie as a heel... these celebrity personality types are ready made heat with smarks and they only need to add a bit of old school heeling for the kids to bay for their blood too. Miz had genuine heat as a heel champ and he pulled off a Wrestlemania main event against Big Match John pretty solidly... he can talk, he can do enough in the ring (most importantly he can sell an ass beating) and he's so easy to fukking hate. He should never even play with being a tween... dude's a born heel.

He was probably my least favorite guy on the roster since he arrived but to be honest he won me over, at least as a personality, when he hosted that first episode of the Tough Enough post show. He was clowning the hell out of some of the contestants when they'd act awkward or pull some bs rehearsed speech instead of holding their hands through a live tv interview. The shyt that really cracked me up though was when he interviewed that dude who's girl was drooling over Reigns and suggested something about him being ok w/her being shared by the boys or something awkward as shyt and Miz just walks away laughing and says "Alright let's hear it for that guy"
