The time is near Eagles brehs. :ohlawd: I am so damn hype for the upcoming season. If we avoid any major injuries I expect we are playing in the Super Bowl. Also I won’t be losing any Madden games with that offense...too many weapons. Someone will be open every single pass play. :wow:
I been destroying my boys thus year with the eagles. my home boy who just runs around with the QB had been winning all his online games with Lamar jackson . he was so hype about playin me . I beat the dog shyt outta his ass. I haven't let him when a game yet . just for talkin reckless.

Y'all lucky y'all play with cats who either got enough confidence in their stick game or don't care enough to let you run with the Eagles. I NEVER got to play with them when I was active. I had to learn to run with the Raiders, Bengals or Giants most years. shyt was so trash... but it made me talk my shyt that much more.

Doug and Wentz were on the radio this morning, and Doug didnt say it but I get the vibe Carson aint playing thursday. He is going to use the joint practices with the Raven to get Carson ready, which honestly...i dont mind it

i dont mind that..im just happy at least this time..carson got time to get his body and mind right...let nasty nate get some snaps in along with kessler and the rook

Bet Nicky Free doesn't play in that (even if it is the dress rehearsal game - not sure) . He knows first hand what this defensive line is about. He don't want those problems before he gets his chance to show he's not only good in Philly.

I love this feeling I got about the team this season. I feel like everyone can get it..... With the lone exception being the Seahawks. But I'm ready to see baby hair finally take an L from us.

As a general rule, I try not to let my expectations get too high before a season begins. But in the case of the offense, I can’t help it. The receiving unit is a Top 5 group, Top 10 at the worst.

We saw what Torrey Smith brought in 2017 and he didn’t even catch a lot of passes. Just the element of his speed alone forced defenses to have to account for him, and opened things up for Alshon Jeffery, Zach Ertz, and Nelson Agholor in the short/intermediate parts of the field. Now you bring in DeSean Jackson, who’s better than Torrey Smith, and already seems to be building a connection with Wentz?

And can you imagine our red zone offense? Alshon Jeffery, Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside. All four of them are monsters in the RZ. Just put them on the field together and find the mismatch. There’s going to be one, and even if there isn’t, the Eagles have a running back in Jordan Howard who specializes in that particular area of the field.

And the Running Backs, man. No more relying on Wendell Smallwood and Josh Adams. :blessed: Even if he never develops into a true three-down back, I can’t envision a world where Miles Sanders isn’t a tremendous upgrade over those two. And, again, Jordan Howard has already proven himself to be a very effective runner and pass blocker.

I still have questions about Vaitai at RG, but Brooks will be back soon anyway. And for the first time in years, I’m not afraid of what will happen if Jason Peters goes down because I have a lot of faith in Andre Dillard as a backup. Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson are studs, and Seumalo should be at least serviceable. So long as the O-Line remains healthy, Carson should be able to use his weapons effectively.

It all just comes down to him. Carson has the weapons, the offensive line, and one of the best head coaches in the NFL in Doug Pederson. Again, as long as everyone stays healthy, there should be no more fukk-ups this year.

Veteran starters almost never play in the first preseason game, and don’t play much of preseason at all. We already know what they can do, and it's more about evaluating your young talent. So, yeah, I wouldn’t expect to see Carson on the field tonight. Or Alshon, DJax, JP, Lane, etc. We will probably be seeing a lot of Miles Sanders, Andre Dillard, JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Vaitai, Josh Sweat, Jordan Mailata, and Nate Sudfeld, though. And those are the guys I’m really interested in seeing.

MY BREHS....:to: We BYKE in this hoe!

Yo....if Miles Sanders unexpectedly gives us some explosiveness in our backfield to go with Howard's power running, LOOK THE fukk OUT, f'real.....like, am I really hearing Shady comparisons?!? :mindblown:

During the Eagles’ open public practice on Sunday, Miles Sanders took a handoff 10 yards from the end zone. With the hole clogged in front of him before reaching the line of scrimmage, Sanders planted his left foot at the seven-yard line, jump cut to his right and then sprinted to the corner of the end zone.

If he hadn’t been wearing No. 26, the 40,000-plus fans in attendance might have thought he was No. 25. The Eagles haven’t had a running back make a play like that since LeSean McCoy — a comparison that’s been heard often since April, when the Eagles made Sanders their highest-drafted running back since McCoy 10 years ago. The players were even drafted in the same spot (No. 53).

McCoy became the Eagles’ all-time leading rusher, so it’s still early and even unfair to set that type of standard for Sanders.....

:banderas:

Eagles training camp report: Miles Sanders’ progress,...

I think most fans wanna see Carson because he hasnt played football in so long, he needs live game action. Its more likely he plays a quarter in game 3 and thats it. This is the benefit of practicing with another team that makes alotta sense, despite what p*ssy aaron rodgers thinks

The thing i wanna see most is our defense. I fukk with Barnett and Sidney so i hope they stay healthy and become pillars in their units. I keep hearing great things about the Wentz to Desean chemistry but i wanna know if thats them having good cohesion or is it the DBs messing up and getting smoked?

From what I read, its a lil of both. Sidney has picked Carson off a few times and i saw Sid line up on Desean, he ran with him Step for fukkin step...but Djax ran a comeback so he got the reception but i was impressed with Sidneys speed

I love every fukking word of this paragraph. This shyt is drool worthy and truly unstoppable as long as the line holds up. Because as I have always said, especially to falcon, giants and lions fans of the past... you can have all the fancy weapons in the world, but if your QB is running for his life or on his ass, those shiny toys don't mean shyt.

Lucky for us our line is quite possibly the best in the league. :heh:

I'm interested in seeing some of the lesser known players who's battling for spots tonight ala

Mack Hollins, Greg Ward,Marken Michel for that last WR spot
Mailata in year 2
Treyvon Heater/Ridgway
LB Depth with TJ Edwards with Kamu injured

The WR spot is a real battle because I think Hollins is hurt AGAIN...his spot aint guaranteed.

On one hand, I like Ward bc he was a former QB, so he has a feel for how the QB sees shyt plus he is an emergency QB

But Michel has jets and catches the ball smoothly plus that 6'6 breh...Ogadusi

Heard Ogadusi has made some plays but had some bad drops.
