We gotta blame Bob Arum
On October 3rd, that designation of hottest fighter at 140 will go to it's rightful owner anyways......:aboutbillions:
A lucas thread is not a lucas thread without the aboveVamos Luquitas la conchatuhermana
We'll see. If Khabib wins then unification can happen at 140 without any bullshyt and politics...if Broner wins I have a feeling haymon will hold him back some more with "non takented" carlos molina type opponents
Broner ain't fighting Crawford or La Maquina. We know how both those spats would end anyway.

Hard hitting Argentine Lucas "The Machine" Matthysse (37-3) is looking forward to his October 3rd return to the ring against Viktor "Iceman" Postol (26-0) in a HBO televised main event. At stake will be the vacant WBC super lightweight title.
The fight takes place at the StubHub Center in Southern California. The venue has produced many memorable fights over the years including Mathysse's thrilling 11th round knockout of John Molina Jr. last year.
"I am very happy to return to Carson," said Matthysse. "I had a good fight last time I was there and the fans should expect another great fight on October 3rd."
With his fan friendly style and having fought several of his fights in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Matthysse has developed a considerable following amongst Mexican fans on the west coast. He said that he is thrilled to have won them over and plans on putting on a great performance for them.
"I am very happy to have the Mexicans as fans. They love boxing and are very knowledgeable about the sport. It is an honor that they like my style as a boxer and that I have earned their respect. I plan on putting on a great show for them and winning a world title," Matthysse told BoxingScene.com.
