Yeah basically. He even said it was hard for him to make an objective review although he tried. Which is why I agree with someone who in the thread who said it should've went to HBO first as just an HBO movie and then put it out on home video after. Keep more money that way. Once the theaters take their cut of the money, studio still has to hope to make a profit

Just got done watching the movie. That pretty much describes the movie. Only fans of the show will like or care about this movie. I've never watched an episode of the show & ended up only half-paying attention to the movie.

This should've been an HBO TV movie. It's kinda embarrassing this got a full theatrical release.

I do like that I could tell the guy that did the music also does the music for HBO's "Ballers".

Okay I see the fantasy world of the Coli like the movie but the real didn't . The actors careers are dead or worse off than before. Turtle lost weight and got in shape to do a Rocky Marciano movie that got pushed back , now the best he can do is be on Power. Vince is Vince he will be farming on Brooklyn rooftops and hitting the clubs. Ari is TV bound. Drama is flabby and sick like his character in real life now. This movie came out too late and it was fukking garbage. I used to like the show but this was a travesty .

Okay I see the fantasy world of the Coli like the movie but the real didn't . The actors careers are dead or worse off than before. Turtle lost weight and got in shape to do a Rocky Mfarciano movie that got pushed back , now the best he can do is be on Power. Vince is Vince he will be farming on Brooklyn rooftops and hitting the clubs. Ari is TV bound. Drama is flabby and sick like his character in real life now. This movie came out too late and it was fukking garbage. I used to like the show but this was a travesty .

Pretty much how I feel. I finally saw it yesterday and it was below average.

The screenplay was so basic it's not even funny. This shyt should have been an HBO only movie.

I was a huge Entourage fan back in the day btw.

their careers pretty much began and ended with entourage the show.

even jeremy piven hasn't done much and he's the only one that stood a chance.


i agree that the movie was a piece of shyt.. i can't believe it made it to theaters.

i would've been cool with it as a long series finale on hbo though

It's never was anything more than a thank you to the fans. They weren't trying to win any awards or use this to become bigger actors. I am glad they made it it was a hour and a half episode turned into a movie and that is ok with me. It wasn't great but if you enjoyed the show idk how you can say it was terrible. But this is the Internet there is no such thing as a 3 out of 5 or 7 out if 10 movie. It's either great or garbage, oh well

This is all some of them have. You think Adrian going to come close to a major role again from a major studio? Jerry had a movie made that went straight double wood called Club Life. Movie was in the red just like this piece of shyt. Kevin Conner just going to be Leo's weed man again but in real life now. Kevin Dillion might as well call it a day and retire. To think they made this not become bigger stars is to lie to yourself . They wanted this to be a sex in the city with sequels.

I disagree, but whatever,I don't look at them as failures most tv stars never do anything again after their big show is over, turtle has been getting work and I am sure residuals will keep them feed for a while..

Why they getting residuals? They didn't write or create it like Seinfeld or David . The show been off the air for almost 5 years now and it wasn't on commercial TV. They getting shyt.

EVERY actor gets residuals when their show is in syndication, they have been replaying them on spike or some channel.. Unless you have definitive proof they are all broke and miserable you might as well give it up cause you aren't gonna convince me otherwise
