The cult of personality is a wild thing.
I understand "separating the art from the artist." We all have that one musician, actor, writer, or even wrestler that we know is on some fukk shyt but we look past it to enjoy their work. To use myself as an example, I enjoy AJ Styles' matches even knowing that conservative redneck ass stands for everything my liberal Black ass is against. It's not something I'm proud of, but it's something we all do with one person or another.
But this is the level I can't get with. Like, if this brother grew up loving Hulk Hogan and enjoying his matches, cool. Still respect his work? Okay. That's all fine and dandy. But don't hop on twitter dressed like a man who probably hates your Black ass just for the color of your skin to show support. You can't handwave the stuff Hulk said, try as WWE might.
