Mark Henry is that dude, I think most of us can agree on that. But the position he's taking on Hogan's sincerity now, I ain't feelin' it.

Hogan had three damn years to repent and clean this shyt up, you know? And the effort he made was minimal at best. And that makes me think that any apology we see now is coming only because it benefits Hogan himself. Just like pretty much everything he's done in his wrestling career.

If you truly enjoy wwe you shouldn't allow the inclusion of someone who won't be a major contributor take you away from it. Do you realize how many products or things you would have to boycott if you knew all the dirt on founders people involved etc...

The fact that he is the biggest icon and has done everything in his power to make amends he was going to be welcomed back and given a chance at redemption...had this been Zac Ryder he probably is never welcomed back

I can understand if you don't like it or Hulk Hogan and I respect that opinion but don't let it dictate what you enjoy.

Nobody truly knows what is in someone's heart...outside of being a psychic the company believes Hogan is being genuine in his remorse and is working to be a better man... Until that is proven other wise you can't deny the face of wrestling his place in history or his intentions of making amends

He could have easily said fukk every one I'm not apologizing I will just take my lawsuit money and relax

Is there any scenario were Hogan coming back would've been accepted though? I understand the "fukk Hulkkk forever" mindset after what he said, but I'm curious if there was anything he could've done or a time span that could've passed for this to not look as bad it is right now.

I have a hard time coming up with one, I kinda feel like anything Hogan did would've come out like a PR stunt, and even if this happened in 2025, it would still be received as :stopitslime:

Even if it happened after he died, it could've led to a Moolah situation.

You're probably right. I think the only way a Hogan apology has any chance at all of being accepted is if he stays completely out of the spotlight after he gives it. As long as the apology is linked to a Hogan comeback, I can't believe it's legit.

There seems to be some requirement that his return to glory is part of the deal here. That is definitely not the case.

He should make a sincere apology, acknowledge that he understands how offensive his words were, announce then and there that it's his final appearance on a wrestling show, leave, and never come back.

And while he's at it, he should donate a few million to some legitimate black causes. And do it without any fanfare or TV appearances.

Yeah that's right, I got this muthafukka's life planned out. :heh:

As I see it, The ultimate effect of racism/white supremacy is economic deprivation and disenfranchisement. So to that end, I could’ve forgiven Hogan if he had apologized (not for being recorded, but for what he said) and done some work in the black community.

He could’ve used some of that Gawker money (that he only got because a billionaire bankrolled the lawsuit in order to bankrupt Gawker) to empower some black folks. Donate to some black causes and give some black folks jobs.

But he was never gonna do that, just RT some sambos who ‘forgave’ him.

The fact that he sort of ran to Peter Thiel and is more close to the typical MAGA types after he got fired cause they embraced him speaks volumes too. He's said some sus stuff on twitter since then too

I read that apparently his “apology” to the locker room was for embarrassing himself and the company and telling talent to be careful because you never know when you’re being recorded. But not once has he ever apologized for the heinous language and bigotry he expressed in that tape.
