Im sitting here in Newark Airport looking out the window before a flight for work. Im wondering if I said something as terrible as Hogan, would i get "suspended" for three years and asked to come back after a weak "apology"?

This is not how ANY company should run. And miss me with that "youll still watch shyt". Thats only true for New Japan apparently

He was never really removed from the HOF,so Im guessing this is WWE way of saying he back

I doubt they'll put him on TV or actively promote him yet. If anything they'll try and make him be involved in anti-racism initiatives with sponsors or at least test the waters.

To me he hasnt formally done the right kind of apology to get forgiveness for this and even if he did, he and WWE gotta understand they'll be fans who'l never accept it and they are totally in the right for that

Well, I'm done. Couldn't pick a worse time for them to do it.

This the shyt that got me why are wrestlers tweeting this celebrating this like he is some conquering hero coming home. He is a racist pos shyt that made every excuse in the book about why he said what he said and couldn’t even bother to be a man and own up to what he said. This is who everyone is celebrating. It’s just disgusting.
Despite what they wish to believe, wrestlers are just as big of marks as their fans. These are the same people that admit to being reduced to tears watching Undertaker make one of his slow ass old man dwaddles to the ring every Wrestlemania despite knowing he's really just some old redneck (who by all accounts is a nice guy, to be fair). They're just like the fans so many of them like to mock; they buy so completely into the idea of the talents from their youths as these larger than life figures. They don't see Terry Bollea: admitted, and thus far, unrepentant racist who not only said 'ni***r' but admitted to being uncomfortable with his daughter dating a Black man and mocked Black folk who were supposed to be his friends. They still see Hulk Hogan, the guy who told them to say their prayers and eat their vitamins, who slammed Andre and who started their favorite group, the NWO.

It's like meeting a real life superhero for them, and I guarantee they're making the same excuses for him as the man on the street.

Not to mention, there are those that totally agree with everything he said.

That's the disturbing part. It's not just that people don't care about what he said or think it was only a mistake. It's also that they never had a problem with what he said and believe it as well, they'll just never come out and be bold enough to admit it.

So brehs is it a complete boycott or like a previous poster suggested are we going for the complete Mullah?
:mjgrin:I get off work around 3 and if it means spending my monday afternoon bringing awareness to Vince's love of racists so be it
The sponsors most likely won't pull out of this one. The Moolah ordeal came out of nowhere because it wasn't publicly known about her background & shıt she did.

Hogan's bullshıt made headlines & their sponsors are quite aware of the whole ordeal so I'm quite sure WWE covered their bases before letting it be known that his "suspension" was lifted.

Teddy Long explicitly said that Ric Flair called him the n-word, ON VIDEO, yet you all continued to watch and Flair is still celebrated to this day.

So either:

A) You thought Teddy Long was lying

B) You thought Teddy Long was telling the truth but decided to remain a fan anyway in spite of it

I know this post won’t get any daps because everyone is in full blown militant mode over this Hogan thing, but it just goes to show you how full of shyt you all are. If you are bothered by what happened then these feelings of resentment and protest would have sprung up long, LONG before this fiasco with Hogan.

If you don’t wanna watch, don’t watch. If someone is a c00n for continuing to support the company because of Hogan then you’re an even bigger c00n for supporting it after you heard the Teddy Long story.

I like how you guys constantly post this little running gag, meanwhile viewership is actually dwindling every week. People are tuning out and moving on.

It’s actually impressive how they managed to secure their rights deals when interest is so low...are their live event, subscription and merchandise numbers really that strong?

I cancelled three years ago but I’m sure a lot of people just kept it because of ease of use and purely because of nostalgia. There is no point in keeping it when their material widely accessible via alternative means and when they continue to underwhelm and insult us with the choices they make week after week. There is only so much bad television one should consume, we do not need these people shytting on our values as well

Cancelled my shyt last night. Was happy to do so. On top of the product not being good, the Hogan shyt was the thing that put me over the limit on Vince fukkery. It's clear that this company likely won't be anywhere close to acceptable until the McMahon family is as far away from the company as possible.

I stopped watching awhile ago cause I saw signs he was coming back. They also alluded to new day doing a segment with him. I'm on a permanent wwe hiatus.
