You are sound like a non ally. ”What us fans seek out?”.Sounds good but I can’t stand listening to corny positive rap. That raw street energy is what us fans seek out. No other genre quite captures that

Shows their own lack of principles. They wanted poison, so I gave it to them Lol.Rappers can’t win
If they on some positive shyt nikkas call them corny
If they talk some street shyt but don’t really do it nikkas call them fake
If they talk some street shyt but actually about it they need to stop killing and being a street rapper
If they talk some love shyt , they get called simp and soft
nikkas complain about everything so at this point rappers are just giving the listeners what they want and support
Absolutely. The Labels and management winning regardless of whatever happens with their clients, even death. They’re leeches and profiteers, but also the food source. If they faced the same consequences as their clients, including death, they’d straighten up their act and not take risks effectively being a part of the Black market (as in organized crime, specifying because it’s a racialized conversation)Cant we blame both?
AndYou only make it out the hood through rap, crack, or playin ball.
You’re either going to end up dead or in jail.
What’s your roots breh? Then explain the folks who arent even from those types of environments going out of their way to emulate the behavior then .
Oh dont worry, I have all day to hear the typical, played out excuses, mental gymnastics and reaches. Once again, if youre a big fan of black death music, just say that. All this extra shyt isnt even needed. "Let me c00n in peace" on repeat, with remixes
The same dudes who think that images of gay people on tv and in movies can influence young black men to become gay, are also saying showing the images of glorifying young black men being gang members and killing each other doesn't infulence young black men to follow that same lifestyle.
African american, why? What’s your roots breh?
Quoted for emphasis, theyre gonna avoid this one like the plague thoThe same dudes who think that images of gay people on tv and in movies can influence young black men to become gay, are also saying showing the images of glorifying young black men being gang members and killing each other doesn't infulence young black men to follow that same lifestyle.
It's really this simple. You've even got people that don't even speak English in other countries trying to live out what they see in rap videos. It's only the dregs of society in other countries that emulate the happenings of drill and gangster rap culture, but sleeper-koons here are fine with that shyt being the face of our culture. If people who arent from that environment influenced as strongly, how you think it influences those who are? Thanks for proving my point
Interesting. Alot of (not all) black, but non AA‘s tend to not care about the violence that goes on with AA or even some of the roadblocks we face. That response from android 18, seemed like one of those responses. Idk, at times feel like we alone in this. Like you have others that side more with white supremacy, than with us.African american, why?
It can be non degenerate and not be corny though.Sounds good but I can’t stand listening to corny positive rap. That raw street energy is what us fans seek out. No other genre quite captures that
Having these discussions on here is like having a discussion with Cacs about racism, a discussion with women about Double standards or a discussion with Republicans about Gun control . Nothing but deflecting and Juelezing. It’s useless
