All that matters is accreditation. Black colleges at on point in time didn’t receive the same accreditation as white schools. They were also denied the abilities to offer graduate programs making it impossible for black students to pursue degrees in specialized fields.
It’s 2024 not 1964. There are too many black people in this country with money and resources who are too caught up in individualism. Plain and simple.

Nah buddy. When I was 12ish, 13ish my godfather tried to get me to go to a top private school. I sat in on classes for a day and toured the campus. Afterwards, I complained to my parents until they agreed to not force me to go there as I didn’t like being away from my friends or being one of the only black kids.
But in hindsight, those little cacs were basically going to mini college. I understand it was private school but some of these public schools in rich areas are similar. I immediately felt the difference in teaching. The instructors were alot more passionate about the material and it was way more advanced than what my classes were doing. Those little caclets are being prepared in a way we aren’t. You cant argue against affirmative action which is the system (inefficiently) trying to fix the problem at the back end if you have no solution to fix the discrepancy at the front end. Basically, I reject your notion that “information is free”. If this didn’t matter, cacs wouldn’t be so pressed about making sure little Timmy grows up in a good school system.
