No the media does not accuse anyone.

we report what the police gives us and attribute it as such.

we use "allegedly" and "accused" and "according to police"

we also report the story and outcome of the case when a person is freed

we would be sued out the ass if it were the other way around so dont go blaming us

The news had the faces and mugshots of these morehouse dudes ON TV and paraded them around as if they has not only admitted guilt but also were found COMPLETELY guilty.
