It really does. Not hating but someone who admits she has low self esteem, then goes online to shake her booty and strip for strangers on a messageboard is also someone who is seeking fame. Someone who wants validation. So maybe people seek real fame, you know the kind where you can actually get paid for putting yourself out there, to also seek validation and try to acquire a better self esteem. ^^This. take that fool to a D-league game. and let him talk to the players and run their resumes down to him. these dudes work just as hard as he is working. possibly harder. could be more physically gifted. even more talented. whats the problem? all sorts of things. politics, bad attitudes, guys thinking they know it all(all youngins).

i got a young dude i know now that i've known since he was in high school. the kid is a baller for real. i promise you he would pu tup 50 on the op's nephew(cousin or whatever he is). doesnt matter. he was hard headed, wouldnt listen. and now he's 25, starting to run into injury problems. still trying to make it work. but it aint happening for him. eventually ended up going to a no name juco downsouth some where in the back woods. and he's from cali(the valley area outside of L.A.) now literally just now he admits. "i should've listened to yall" talking about all of us old heads. now he's thinking about letting that hoop dream go and get into coaching or something. little did he know. if he would've hit up a JC early on like we told him to. at worse case. he would've been in a 4 yr. graduated with some easy degree. and even if he couldnt get into the league. he would be able to coach a lot of places with ease. because he belonged to a 4 year program at some point and once you get in. you're in. they'll find you a coaching gig.

i mean sure he could do well anyway. but its going to be a lot harder for him. now.

its not about hard work. as much as its about LISTENING to the people who have been there and done that. and having a great attitude all the time.

Yes, I've been famous and many of my colleagues are famous, but that's irrelevant. You answered your own question. You got the validation you wanted.
