This ain't for us, but for the Japanese business executive. Unlike most American executives who would sell every relative to mine lithium for life, so they can have a 10% YOD to get the next bonus. The Japanese execs have a lot of pressure to be "pro japan" and that includes being seen/leasing/buying Japanese cars. This for the Japanese luxury class and maybe some auxillary Asian countries.
These cars are so wanted for Japanese exec's and other Japanese ballers, that Toyota will background check you, not for finances, but to make sure you're an upright citizen aka not Yakuza/Grey Area millionaires.
