He’s the number 39 ranked player in the country. I think almost any program in the country would take him unless they’re either already capped out on schollies or just don’t want to deal with the extra media attention for whatever reason. I’m not sure of OSU’s schollie situation, but I’m quite sure they’d make room in a heartbeat for him.

He's #39 b/c he's lebrons son, not b/c of any actual output or pro potential....and this isn't that strong of a class tbh.

Xavier Booker is #1 overall in some rankings, and top 10 in just about all of them...yet he has some games where he scores 6 points, or only grabs 3 boards, or isn't even the best player on his HS team . The differece is he's 6'11 with a 7'4 wingspan, so his ranking is based on his pro projections. A 6'2 guard will be ranked on output.

It's obvious Bronny isn't a true top 40 recruit by his offer list...cool interest from OSU and USC....most top 40 kids are already committed and have several, if not dozens of high-major offers. When's the last time he visted OSU? Whens the last time OSU even sent an assistant out there to watch him? Does OSU or USC even have an open scholarship to offer? SC's signed 3 players already, and OSU's signed 4...you only get 12 schollies per year and that includes your returning players. There's some some excellent 2024 players from IN & OH that MSU and OSU are recruiting for 2024 as well...does the coach want to burn a scholly on the Bronny experiment vs. having room for one of these '24 guys?

He's the only top 75 kid that isn't signed/comitted...and knowing bron it's b/c they're trying to make the situation appear better than it is.

Agian this isn't hating, I want him to succeed despite the unwarranted pressure on him.

Unless Bryce completely stops growing at 15, which is doubtful. He will be between 6'6-6'8

Bronny's in tough spot with USC/OSU in the fact they've already signed multiple guards (2022 class for OSU). Its ok if one is clearly better, but those top 75 to 100 guys....there might not be a real difference between them and Bronny. And it puts him at risk of being lost in the shuffle.

The issue ultimately is Bron putting the expectation of playing on the same team in 2 years. Problem is top guard Kylan Boswell (just 17) reclassified and is struggling to score at Arizona as a freshman. Bronny couldnt get any run on the same AAU teams as Dior Johnson and Skyy Clark. Both have flamed out already. Amari Bailey was clearly better than Bronny at SC and he's now viewed as a 2nd round pick..if he even comes out this year. They want to position him to succeed, but dont want to ruin his 1st year. Cause if he's averaging 2 or 3 points that kills the hype of him playing in the pros soon.

On his own Bronny could probably be a really good 3 to 4 year college player that develops at his own pace and probably makes it in the league cause of his great defensive instincts and athleticism. However, if the plan is two years...three at most..

Although I guess with the transfer portal he could always find the right school the following year.

Bryce is a more natural basketball player. However, Bronny grew maybe an inch after his freshman year (when he was 15). Hopefully he gets there (your projection of 6'8") However, the issue for Bryce is he's nowhere close to as physically ready as Bronny was at that age. He doesnt get any run cause he's strong enough or quick enough to defend. And he still needs game time to develop. Not to mention you know they gonna reload with transfers. Bron better be careful, or he'll locked in as a role player backup like Pippen's other son that plays there.

Bron should have sent them kids to SC as seniors after they had lots of game reps/mins.

I agree. He's not going to OSU, at least not for this coming season...and the B1G's slower, slug it out pace won't necessarily be attractive to him either...USC and the Pac 12 is at least less structured, and more of a free flowing style of play, and obviously closer to home.

I don't think Bron did Bronny any favors by announcing his grand plan to the public. Not only does that put an insane amount of pressure on bronny, it fails to realize that a going on 40-year old lebron won't be that attactive to GMs either, especially when he's going to force them to draft/sign & play his son. This agenda would have been better to keep this behind closed doors while quietly working towards it, but that's not what of-the-moment dikkriding is all about....

I want to see that moment happen, Lebron deserves it, his son can earn it, and it would be dope af, especially if it happens organicially and it's some force PR move due to nepotism.

I honestly think Bronny goes to G league. Gets paid a ton of money. And they get the hype train going put his games on ESPN/nbatv and usher in his NBA career step by calculated step.

College would be a mess and a headache. And there’s the possibility of a emoni type situation

I’ll say Bronny going to a big name school in a low key city like Michigan and balling out and going to the final 4 or something would be the dream scenario. I’d love to see that :ohlawd:

But it seems like he needs a guaranteed path to the NBA in 1 year

Emoni's problem is
Poor measurables
Poor athleticism
Went to a school to chuck instead of be coached/developed

I’m kind of puzzled on the Bryce hype outside of him being taller because at the same age Bronny was clearly better. Like I don’t think Bryce is even as good as freshman Bronny..

Bronny had legit flashes and played on a team with three NBA guys in Bailey, BJ Boston and Ziaire Williams..

All based off projections of him growing to 6'6+ and developing some of that Kangleticism. Pair that with his nice jumpshot and he's cooking. But if that don't come he not even Gelo status

Oh, haven't you heard?

Bryce is more skilled with his back to the basket than his pops.

But his height makes up for the first 2.

Bronny lacks height but has athleticism. They’re kinda similar situations

I don’t think bronny has time to be coached/developed unlike someone like Carmelos son
