Aight...I'll maintain that I think he's hype over substance...I don't see him going to a p5 team with any sort of rep, I def don't see him as a 1st rounder...but I'll happily eat my words if he turns the corner, or if he get's drafted 1st round, or if he's in the league and goes off for 25...I'd rather me be wrong and him to succeed.

I can see him with Poole as his ceiling...Poole is lightnigh quick, but I didn't see that in HS and College and I watched his games at LaLu b/c he was JJJ's teammate. So Bronny can develop that nice of handle and work on the quickness. Someone mentioned Caruso...I can see that as well. I need to see more dog for me to say Poole or Caruso still b/c those dudes have that dog factor...still time to push himself into that. Also, Poole was lucky to get drafted into an orgainzation that has some of the best player development in the world.

Bronny getting in a P5 school with strong hoops pedigree isn't the argument.

Poole went 28th and Caruso went undrafted. Neither player was dominant in high school or college.

He can't get to the rim in the halfcourt though. He has the same athleticism that Lonzo ball had. I remember Lonzo posting videos of him doing 360 windmills but looking shook af in the halfcourt and averaging less than 2 fts a game. It's not functional athleticism. If he could shoot and get to the rim, he'd be averaging more than 14 ppg especially at Sierra Canyon where it's catered to those type of players where they press the entire game and get a bunch of fast breaks. (Bagley, Bailey, Ziare Williams, BJ Boston). they get to the league and they don't know how to play a different style. I really hope Bron models his game after Caruso cause they have similar builds, similar athleticism and both are elite defensively.

I never would have guessed (although he is Bron's son) that Bronny would look more athletic than Mikey Williams. Yet he does.

However, Mikey has the functional athleticism to get to the rim with ease than Bronny. Bronny looks uncomfortable dribbling against set defenses and doesnt show much of a quick first step.

And Mikey might end up Dennis Smith Jr. 2.0 for all we know. Idk, either the game doesnt come easy to him, as I've joked before he looks like a football player playing basketball or he just never really worked on his game as much as he should have. Not a city vs county thing, but Bronny looks like he never played streetball for real.
He's getting better. However, when he faces the kid going to Duke, Jared McCain, his squad (Centennial HS) always makes it tough for him to even get a shot off.

6 APG isn't that wild, but I'll admit it's less common than I thought...I'm used to watching MSU, who I forget is routinely at the top in the nation for FGs by Assists,...I should change the expectation to 3-4 APG for a solid expection.

I still want to know which college coaches are actively pursuing him....his recruitment doesn't seem like a top 40 blue chip player, it seems like a top 75/top 100 type of 3* Plan B recruit.

Also do you feel his top 40 ranking is justified? or is it more due to name? It's cool either way, jw your opinion on it.

I know for a while KU wanted him but that was never gonna happen due to Nike. The word is USC, Oregon, Memphis and Ohio State are after him.
