Bronny looks about 6’2” good enough height for an NBA pg ….Bryce looks to be already 6’4” at 15 he’ll be fine

Size wise he can play the point, but does he have PG skills? If he's not averaging close to double digit APG in HS then he's not playing PG in the NBA...

I think he can go in the late 2nd round or undrafted free agent off the strength of his dad's pull, but I've seen nothing outside of some decent dunks for a 6'2 kid that makes me think he'll get burn in the NBA. Not hating either, I hope he makes it, but I've followed Hoops recruiting for almost 20 years and generally speaking you can tell the NBA prospects from the high level college players to the mid major talent. If breh's name was Chris Jones he'd be a 3* player going to a mid major as a 4 year player.

Was Zaire the same level of prospect? I'm not saying Bronny is a high-level prospect but I don't recall Zaire even being a top 100 player.
Not really relevant. The G League has not proven to be an equal or greater developmental pool for an 18 year old 4-star prospect than a college program.

Bronny may not go to Kentucky or Kansas but if he ends up at Central Florida or Oregon State he has more room to grow his game and impact a team.

He can shoot and get to the rim ….that’s what modern PGs do …this ain’t the Jason Kidd era anymore :manny:

He can't get to the rim in the halfcourt though. He has the same athleticism that Lonzo ball had. I remember Lonzo posting videos of him doing 360 windmills but looking shook af in the halfcourt and averaging less than 2 fts a game. It's not functional athleticism. If he could shoot and get to the rim, he'd be averaging more than 14 ppg especially at Sierra Canyon where it's catered to those type of players where they press the entire game and get a bunch of fast breaks. (Bagley, Bailey, Ziare Williams, BJ Boston). they get to the league and they don't know how to play a different style. I really hope Bron models his game after Caruso cause they have similar builds, similar athleticism and both are elite defensively.

shyt, maybe play in Europe? It's seemed to help develop the Euro talent...and didn't hinder LaMelo...If making the NBA and playing with his pops is indeed his ultimate goal, I don't see how playing at a random college program will help get him there. If he goes to Orgeon State and is fairly average, it won't be beneficial at all.

Bryce gawd looks like he 6'4" (at age 15, you hating fakkit) tho :yeshrug:

It looks like one son got the height and one son got the freakish athleticism

BRONNY DOESNT HAVE
FREAKISH ATHLETICISM.

HE HAS A NICE VERTICAL LEAP
WHICH MOST NBA PLAYERS DO.

HIS ACTUAL QUICKNESS,
SPEED, AGILITY, CHANGE OF DIRECTION ETC
IS NOT NBA LEVEL YET.

HES NOT SOME DERRICK ROSE,
WESTBROOK, WALL TYPE OF ATHLETE
JUST BECAUSE HE CAN JUMP HIGH.

BRYCE WILL BE A HIGH JUMPER TOO.
BRONNY WASNT GETTING UP
LIKE THIS WHEN HE WAS A FRESHMAN.

That's one of the better comps I've seen, and off what I've seen he needs some more 'dog' in him to be Caruso, but that might be his ceiling, as of now.

for sure. that dog caruso got is rare cause he's a cac who was overlooked playing a black man sport. he had no choice. but i think bronny could play in the NBA but he has to have a very specific role on a winning team. it's like gary payton II. those type of players look really good on great teams but if you expect them to raise the ceiling of a bad team then you're going to be disappointed.

The Euro talent were playing with pros at 15-16. G-Leaguers are not pros and 1-2 years with them doesn't move the needle. LaMelo also struggled in Europe. He had to go to Australia to look like an NBA player.

What is "fairly average" to you? It's unlikely Bronny will be a dominant scorer anywhere so looking for a certain scoring average won't tell the story.

Correct...and I know you being from the city remember D-Rose in HS...it was evident he was going to be a #1 Pick....and still a lot of recruiting services had the balls to rank Gordon (was insane in HS), OJ Mayo (also insane in HS) and Beasley above Rose. Scout even had kyle fukking singler above Rose....but watching him play you could see the quickness, explosiveness, the drive, the dog in him...athletically, the best HS player I've seen besides Bron.

He is obviously not on that level. Those are all time athletes..once - or in this case, twice - in a generation (Wall doesn't belong); kinda like Ja Morant right know. But…if you compare them to pops. One got his athleticism and one got his height. The basketball skills are still in question.
