fairely dumb ass

Man, I just can not believe this guy. And Fairely just didn't get a DUI it's a DUI with eluding police, reckless driving, open container in the vehicle and no insurance. Any one of those things would have Goddell giving him 4 games off dude might miss the entire season behind this. They have too much money in him to just cut him but something has to be done.

He only make a million this year, they could cut him and not have a bad cap hit.

But they gotta see what he can do on the field. Lions not in position to just be cutting first rd talent without even seeing him play full time.

That's not as bad as I thought it was. I definitely agree Lions can't afford to cut 1st rounders and think they will still be competitive but Fairely was going to have to do better than 11 tackles and 1 sack, plus we played pretty good without him. Experts say DTs develop within 2 to 3 seasons so this year should tell us what type of caliber of player he is, bust or pro bowler.

Someone trashed Titus Young’s house
Posted by Michael David Smith on May 31, 2012, 7:43 AM EDT

Getty ImagesLions receiver Titus Young has had an eventful offseason for more reasons than one.

We knew Young had recently returned to Organized Team Activities and apologized for sucker punching teammate Louis Delmas, which resulted in the team sending him home for about a week. What we didn’t know is the home Young was sent back to had previously been trashed by someone who broke in and broke things.

The Detroit Free Press reports that Young’s house in Canton, Michigan, was severely damaged in February when someone broke in and smashed things with baseball bats. Three TVs and the SUV in his garage were among the big-ticket items damaged, and smaller items including a coffee table, lamp and clock were destroyed. Nothing was stolen.

“You can infer that that kind of thing might indicate somebody that was angry or hostile toward whoever lived there,” Canton Detective Sgt. Dave Schreiner said. “Of course we’re speculating, but burglaries don’t usually occur where somebody breaks in to steal stuff and in so doing does a great amount of damage. That’s going to make noise and draw attention, so it was somewhat out of the ordinary for all the damage that was done there.”

A neighbor who heard things breaking called the police, and Young came home while the police where at his house surveying the damage. Young told police he thinks the damage might have been done by a cousin he had a falling out with, but he also said he wouldn’t want that cousin prosecuted. Police said Young was cooperative and polite with them, but that Young did not return phone calls from officers or fill out paperwork they need to proceed with their investigation, so they closed the case.

nope...i'm waiting to see how these guys react to getting their livelyhoods taken from them, see if they smarten up. sometimes you have to bump your head before you learn, and shyt isn't real until you can't suit up and don't get paid. if the bs continues after that, then we'll know what we're dealing with, cause if we keepin it funky, these guys stayed out of trouble all season, and it wasn't until the off season where they tripped up...we'll see if they learn anything before giving up on them.

young team, young mistakes...if they can grow from these self inflicted wounds, we'll be the better for it.
