We all thought Pete was just talking crazy
Sports writers have zero business voting for the Hall of Fame.
None whatsoever.
Only a true dumb fukk who doesn't know shyt about baseball would look at the careers of Jeff fukking Kent and Roger Clemens and think that Kent belongs in the Hall and Clemens doesn't.
Not to mention A-Rod or Manny...who were better than Kent if they only had half a leg.

Yup..and as far as perceived steroid guys, let them all in. You cant prove who did what or was on what in that era, so if they are among the best while they played than why not? Guys who cheated, were dirty, used techniques that are no long allowed are in the hall. Manny, a rod, bonds, ortiz should all be in. Schilling is borderline just as Kent is.This is why I don't take baseball's Hall serious (basketball's is trash too). That ballot is a joke and he's one of baseball's leading media members.
Someone who covers baseball for a living voting for Kent, Rolen and Jones but not Clemens, Manny, A-Rod or Ortiz should have their credentials revoked.
Schilling should be a no-brainer, imo. Gotta be the personal stuff keeping him out. He was one of the best pitchers in baseball from '92 to '04 and nails in the postseason.Yup..and as far as perceived steroid guys, let them all in. The very fact that some piece of shyt writer who never did anything athletically in his life feels that he even deserves to have the "power" to punish someone like Roger Clemens or A-Rod or Manny is preposterous to begin with.He probably didn't vote for Manny/Ortiz/A-Rod because of their ties to the steroid era but will vote for them once they've been "punished" enough..
That's the theory i've read..
You see how he votes for Bonds because Bonds been on the ballot a long time now. Clemens he probably didn't believe was a HOFer before roids and there's an argument to be made there.
Bonds was a clear HOFer one of the best players of all time before that "era" ..

"I'm going to punish you and make you wait a few more years"
Suck my d*ck, Heyman
There should just be a board of electors who work for the Hall of Fame.Sure but what's the alternative? Most of the voters for the NBA's Top 75 list were players/former players and executives and guess what? The Coli was upset..
One thing i remember being brought up with Schilling is he didn't get to the 250-300 range for wins. I agree tho, he should be in.Schilling should be a no-brainer, imo. Gotta be the personal stuff keeping him out. He was one of the best pitchers in baseball from '92 to '04 and nails in the postseason.
If you think of pitchers from his era, his name is in the top-five, behind Pedro, Unit and Maddux. Maybe put Clemens ahead of him in that same time frame but Schilling was more consistent and definitely better in the postseason.
