Question why would a team in the playoffs race call up a guy for the first time this late in the season? I mean dude gonna have to adjust to the majors and pitchers he'll be working with

They're going to probably primarily use him as a DH option maybe only against lefties. The minor league season is over. He made an adjustment (got more patient, wasnt striking out as much) in AAA after struggling at first and then dealing with injury. It's basically a why not and surprise factor option to have. The power is special.

Wilpons probably would have him start and catch deGrom. Good thing they are gone.

Kinda like that Mets jersey. I wonder how it would look without the stripes. But it's colorful.
Pretty cool, I think

The Rays aint slick. Trying to get that 6th spot, and avoid having to go to Toronto (for all those unvaxxed players), and also play the Astros in the 2nd round. They rather take their chances in Cleveland, and then against the Yankees (who they fare pretty well against). Smart move.

also I have nothing to say about the White Sox, I cant remember a team I've rooted for that I disliked more - they brought all this on themselves with the Tony hiring, cant say this is terribly shocking. Worst 200 mil ever spent in baseball.
