Very true. Brand new season once the playoffs and short series starts. If a team is hot with the right starters, they can beat anyone.

That same season you mention, 2015, that same Cubs team went 7-0 vs the Mets in the regular season. In the NLCS, they ran into a red hot Mets team with Harvey, deGrom, Syndagaard and Murphy going nuts and got their asses whooped in a 4 game sweep.
