I gotta give you props for still watching the Pirates despite how trash they are :pachaha:

The curse ends with me. This was my grandfather's team. My father's. Now it's mine. If I have a son, I'm just gonna lie to him we're Phillies fans, rather he live with a myth than the shame of growing up in a Pirates household.

I would never take a catcher this high. They almost never pan out and are rarely an integral part of a contending team. The offensive limitations aren't worth it early in the draft.
Dude was viewed as one of the best college bats and was always top 5-8 in a bunch of mocks. If he doesn't cut it as a catcher, then he's a 1B/DH :yeshrug:

Look at this baby faced muthafukka here

Young fella still got mother's milk on his lip :heh:
Gon be the first player ever to win Little League WS MVP and play in a MLB game in the same year :heh:
Dude gotta get carded just so he dont get rounded up and forced to sit in 8th grade algebra class :heh:

There's probably some hype because his father is Matt Holliday.
He's got a nice swing. I like how smooth it is. I don't like how he steps to the plate. I think it's going to cause him a lot of problems with timing as he faces top tier pitchers. He's gonna have a lot of balance problems that need to be worked out. Reminds me a bit of Maikel Franco in that aspect. Raw talent is there. Probably will struggle against the better pitchers though.

He's listed as a SS but he's probably a 2B. Arm strength is trash.

Looking at the Druw Jones highlights.
Much better prospect to me than Jackson Holliday. Holliday has a better ceiling with the bat.
Jones looks much better defensively and he needs to pack on some weight and muscle. Jones has a good compact swing. Needs to learn how to explode his hips better.

From a raw tools perspective, Elijah Green is it.
Impressive kid. Wow.

That kid has 450 foot HR potential.
