It does suck hes on a team that isnt truly competitive but I feel baseball is one of those sports that greatness can be appreciated no matter the team success. Baseball is an individual sport for the most part so one man cant impact that much, but the greatness cant be diminished. Hopefully with can see Ohtani pitching and hitting in meaningful October games soon but even if he never makes the playoffs, watching him play baseball will still be incredible

Y'all are gonna get sick of me posting about Shane McLanahan but that guy is probably the best pitcher in the AL and he doesnt get a lot of publicity.

Hes pitched 110 innings this year, 21 earned runs, 19 walks with 147 strikeouts

He also can pitch many different ways. I want to say I saw in one of his last starts vs the Yankees, he only threw his fastball a couple times and kept throwing offspeed because it was the 3rd time he started against them in a month.
