Mookie changed his walk up music. So one announcer asked why did he? Since homey didn’t know he just googled it

I love baseball announcers

Baseball announcers really are the GOATs of announcing. All of em sound the same to me so they lack distinction but just the pure amount of info you have to have is wild. To be able to carry that much down time plus to have all those random stories and shyt its a true talent.

I like the older baseball announcers because I think they had more personality.

These newer guys have that silly broadcast voice that seems phony to me. Matt Vasgersian or whatever his name is. I realize he's probably like 50 but I'm talking the generations before that.
I'm rarely sitting through 3 straight hours of a baseball game but I'll tell you...listening to Michael Kay isn't helping. He's terrible.

I don't follow hockey a ton, but hockey announcers are fantastic. Sam Rosen might be the GOAT.

American Football announcers might be the worst.

The cubs called up Christopher morel(poor man’s baez) dude hit a hr 1st ab , bat flipped, moonwalked down 1st then did an unsolicited curtain call :mjlol:

I saw that and it almost brought a tear to my eye.
The pure excitement is a joy to watch. It was a beautiful human moment. Got to see a dudes dream come true immediately infront of our eyes.
:wow:

Most of the big money FAs from this winter are playing like shyt to start the season.

Baez :scust:
Correa :scust:
Bryant :scust:
Seager :scust:
Story :scust:
Semien :scust:
Berrios :scust:
Ray :scust:
Baez is okay. Not a star but he's a solid player.
Correa is still good. Should have an all-star caliber season. Let's see how his finger has healed.
Bryant has been hurt. Probably not that good. Coors field should mask his numbers a bit. Will take more games to be sure.
Seager is still an elite player. He's just surrounded by awful, awful teammates.
Story has probably peaked in his career. He won't put up the monster numbers he had in Coors. But in a good offense like Boston he's going to have some value. Closer to Baez than Seager, know what I mean?
Semien. There's no sugarcoating it. He sucks. Undervalued last season. Way, way overvalued this season. He'd be riding the bench if it weren't for his contract. Probably the worst starting 2B in the game.
Berrios had a fine game yesterday. It inspires hope. And his offense should carry him to wins. But the reality is he's the worst starting pitcher on the Blue Jays right now. Yes, Kikuchi is better than him.
Ray is still a fairly good pitcher. Not AS GOOD as last season. But not as bad as before then. Somewhere in the middle.
