Yeah they are pretty bad.

There's hope because Tarik Skubal and Joey Wentz are promising pitching prospects. But as far as hitters, they have nothing. Well, maybe Torkelson...Riley Greene...

But I wouldn't say it's a deep system

Regarding 2003, that was so ridiculous. New York lost Games 1 and 5 to Brad Penny.
Brad Penny was always a mediocre pitcher, even back then.

I can accept getting held in check by Josh Beckett. But you lose two games to Penny and then get shut down by bum ass Carl Pavano for 8 innings? Talk about a bad joke.

They're the worst organization in baseball right now. There is absolutely no hope on the horizon and Hinch is gonna leave after this season UNLESS they fire Avila and hire a real GM, preferably Luhnow.
