not feeling the Kay-Rod broadcast. They're going about this all wrong. The Manning Cast wasn't Peyton and Eli trying to call a game. Just comment on what you see (which makes Kay pointless). Get Dontrelle Willis or someone like that with A-Rod or whoever and just chop it up. It needs to sound like 2 people in a room watching the game who just so happened to be in MLB before. MLB tonight is actually really good at this when they do live check-ins.

not to continue to talk about the broadcast, but I watched that MLB Network show Off-Base. Fresh faces, not incredibly hot-takey, good little show they got.
I follow Jared Carrabis on Twitter, and he's fukking annoying, but he knows his shyt and between his online presence and his podcasts, he could handle a broadcast like this. Yankee broadcasts, I'll watch JoezMcFly watch the game and react the way he would. Barstool Hubbs and their coverage was really good.
During the pandemic, reaction videos and natural reactions to stuff became something I could kill time watching. That's an untapped resource that baseball needs to jump on, and it would work better in baseball than in any other sport because of the down time in between pitches.
