I don't think he gets more than Lindor. There's no new owners who want to make a splash a week after buying a team. If anything I'm thinking big money little years especially with the uncertainty of the upcoming talks with the union

No way I would offer him or Seager a 10 year deal. 8 yrs would be the most for either.

Correa deserves to be paid more than Lindor.
But the Lindor contract was so outrageous that I don't think anyone can use it as any sort of baseline for other Shortstop contracts.

I get that Correa has to TRY to beat it. But no. You're not getting 350M. You're just not worth that.

It was outrageous because Tatis set the market without having accomplished anything.

Unless he's just trying to get 35 per year. Which is cool if it's a shorter contract. 6/210

I didn't have an issue with the Tatis contract.

Even as young as he is, I believe in that kid's future. Fernando Tatis Jr at 20 years old or whatever is the same as if you had Ken Griffey Jr at 20 years old.
The talent is obvious. I'd take that risk 9 times out of 10.

One bettor is heavily invested in those numbers being enough to win MVP. According to BetMGM, a bettor this summer placed a $204,149 bet on Ohtani to win the MVP at -5,000 odds. The bet would pay a net $4,083.

lol…WHAT???

:what:
That had to be a guy who just wanted to prove a point. Lol. No way that was a real bet.
