:whoa:

So they are taking away one of their biggest selling points?

"Here's the new GS3, now with a smaller 4" screen. It now has no relevent advantage whatsoever over the iPhone 5" :childplease:

I'd switch to google from apple but I like my devices supported for the length of my 2 year contract and not feel duped when a new phone drops 3 months after I get my upgrade :birdman:

There's a decent market for Android users that don't like huge phones. I've come across a few people that said they liked the S3, but it was too big for them.

As far as getting an Android phone that will receive all of the latest updates, go with a Nexus device. The Nexus S that dropped Dec 2010 is still getting updates to this day.

Co-sign, got the Galaxy Nexus and that update to 4.1.1 was instant. Pure Google device or nothing for me.

I'm in that boat, its too big. I already have an ipad, not looking to watch movies on my phone. I just can't see changing over from Apple just for a different OS. I'll have to look into that Nexus in the future tho.

Trying to decide between an iPhone 5 or whatever the other top of the line phone is. I'm actually afraid that Galaxy shyt is too big.

Convince me someone :ehh:

I don't watch videos on my phone. I text, email, use the usual social networking apps, surf the web etc. Nothing too crazy.

I need the best basic smartphone on the market right now :manny:

Perhaps the 4S? :manny:

Keep making this thread. At some point in the future, Apple will take steps back (it's how the world works), and you can bump all these threads and say "ZOMG, SEE, I TOLD YOU", even if it is years down the line.

If you type out the words "Goog Set Droid Gang", "GSDG", or "Jobs Gang" you're lame as fukk. Grow up already.

im an android guy... and i dont really know the specs of the galaxy but their commercials are bullshyt too. You can't rip the new iphone features then have seperate commercials promoting "instant photo sharing" and "tap file exchange" is anyone seriously going to buy to that phone for that stupid ass advancements?

apple stocks has been doing really well so it's gonna be a long time until they fall off, BUT, their products will always be inferior to android.

That shows me you have no idea what youre talking about breh. Thats Apple propaganda. nikkas rocking 2 year old phones with the latest version of Android. Id rather have more shyt coming out and having a choice as to what i want, then my manufacturer trying to sell me marginal upgrades like its a huge deal

one of the main reasons why i threw iphone in the bushes is apples treating me, customer, as a fukking amoeba.

their ads and presentations are offensive to any intelligent person, they repeating the same "amazing" shyt every year

that panoramic photo feature presentation :snoop:

with the death of jobs the company lost all charisma and started to release the same products

fukk them

Honestly when I initially got the Galaxy Nexus I was like "this shyt is way too big" but got use to it quickly when I would go web browse or using apps. I can't go back now. Everything smaller feels like toys, lol.

That's what i'm saying. Let someone that's used to a smaller screen rock with a phone around 4.5 inches for a month, then hand him his old phone back. They'll hit you with the :to:
