Yep. And those conversions reminded me of Texas Tech. You cannot consistently keep giving up 3rd and long and expect to win. Either the players are a problem or the coach is stubborn.
With this defense and the remaining schedule, 8 wins should be considered a success.
Secondary got visibly worse when Watts went out and he isn't even all that good. But A.Jordan and Brooks played a lot of snaps and they weren't getting good depth when we were in zone coverage and were getting beat in man. Crawford got a lot of burn too. I'll take the win and 5-2 record though.

Yeah Worthy is gonna have to me more consistent & put on more good weight for me to believe he's a 1st round pick.
Honestly I think Jonthay Cook is closer to Devonta Smith than Worthy.

UT's biggest problem on defense are that they're starting EDGE players are JAGs who don't get enough pressure or TFLs. PK isn't going anywhere. Sark & the staff are gonna be much more aggressive recruiting Front 7 players from the transfer portal/JUCO than they were this past winter/spring.

Looking at Evan Stewart's IG every weekend, it sounds more like Stewart is recruiting himself to UT.
His dad is sending out feelers to a number of teams. Us, Bama, USC etc... If he leaves A&M it'll definitely be a bidding war, one I'm not sure we'll participate in unless they make good with Sark. But Evan is a troll, unless things really implode I'm not convinced he is leaving A&M.
