So yall running with this Hudson kid? :patrice:
Whats the deets on him
Been trending his way for about a month. From Lake Travis HS, one of the big two programs in the Austin area (same school as Baker Mayfield). When I saw him in high school he looked hella athletic. I don't know if it will translate to the next level. He's also got a live arm. He's going to go through growing pains this year but he should be really good in '22.

@Numpsay Weigman has 7 tds in the 1st half on ESPNU. Kid grew up a Longhorn fan. Sark better know what he's doing leaving the state for his first QB.
A year ago everyone was sure this kid was going to play baseball. He is kind of blowing up and now with NIL he could easily choose football over baseball. I like Malik though, his team is ass which overshadows how talented he is but I wouldn't trade him for anyone not named Ewers.

:ehh: DL/Edge recruiting has really come together. Now if he can just get some OL, WR, and at least one elite CB recruit I'd be happy.
This is a lot of spots we're committing to the dline which is one position group that looks OK for the next few years. Feels like we're taking 1 or 2 too many. Looking at the depth chart, we are in trouble on the oline after this season.

In the next 2 years we are going to lose Coburn, Sweat, Ojomo, Jones, Ovie, Davis, Thornton and probably Collins. So we need an infusion of talent coming in this class. We should only lose Kerstetter and Okafor next year unless Jones has a monster year. People think Hoofkin has the most natural ability if he can stay healthy and Karic is the next man up at OT. 2 freshman on each line that have stood out Hayden Conner on the OL and Byron Murphy on the DL. Both will play this year.

How much of a chance do you think we have landing ARCH MANNING? This could be a Chris Simms type situation where Arch does the unexpected and goes to Texas. Sark has been recruiting him for a long time.

Also I read two of Arch's best friends are leaning to Texas. I wonder if the Manning Family (who will be heavily involved in the decision) would be down with him going to Texas?

I'm not even sure you can say it would be unexpected. Arch is a Texas lean, and if the offense shows some level of competence he'll be ours to lose. Manning family also has an affinity for Sark, I'd put our chances at 80% and its my expectation he'll commit this fall.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the insight. I hope he does commit. We need him.

4 star coming out of high school. Local product (Lake Travis). Thompson apparently turned the ball over to much during camp and Hudson has the better arm and is sneakily athletic. But there is no tape on him, as he has never played any meaningful snaps so we’ll see.

:francis: I was rooting hard for Casey Thompson. #BlackQBAgenda
