missed the game but saw some highlights. feed warren, like dtown said, i like hudson as well. its time to put some of these young guys on the field, some new ones too. gary johnson, hager and roach need to be on the field a lot more. there is no excuse for them to only have 1 sack the entire game.

Carter is the compliment to Warren, too. Not Porter and I hope the coaches realize this sooner or later.

he played a lot more today than he did vs maryland. hager flashes a lot but he still has some consistency issues. i also think the coaching staff is still experimenting with their personnel. they don't know what they really have yet.

Sam's not that accurate, but don't see anything wrong with him running the ball. A homerun hitter is not needed. Its not like JT Barrett is some plus athlete. A competent runner is more like it. This offense uses a lot of wildcat regardless of the QBs ability anyway.

I'm glad they got Gary Johnson out there. See how easy the game is for Malik when you got Wilbon taking space and Johnson filling out there. He gets to roam some and cover instead of blitzing inside and trying to be a downhill thumper. Kris Boyd still can't cover nobody and Elliot still doesn't know his assignments. We bout to get dogwalked next week. Bad mismatch. I do think we have better athletes than Stanford, but they are much better on the lines and it meant nothing. We're in trouble buddy. Would gladly eat those words, but I saw nothing to suggest 'Roland' Jones III won't put up 200+ on us and Darnold will have a career day.

matchup next week looks really bad if we can't sustain a running game and if we don't get more pressure on the qb. 2 sacks in 2 games is disappointing. that type of effort vs USC is basically sending our dbs to slaughter vs their skill players. seems like a complete waste to put roach at DE in this system.

honestly my biggest concern for the program right now and going forward with recruiting is the state of the dline.

lampkin looked pretty good to me today for OU. losing him, jordan elliott, and chaisson (three 6'4 guys with nfl size) was a big setback for this program. dline recruiting has been blah so far with Giles.

Been missing out the dline for a minute. Not only missing in the top players, but that next tier as well. It's weird, because if you're a top dlineman, you can come in and possibly start

He is the most undisciplined player on the defense. They can only play him when he has one assignment.

This USC match up looks bad, but I think we'll fair better than most think.
