d line not getting to the qb which puts the pressure on our corners to defend longer than they should. we need to get back to the run game and stick to the short throws. buchele is underthrowing all of his deep balls.
There is nothing wrong with the defense. No one has stopped them this year. They've stopped themselves a lot. Vance should know better, you play teams like this conservatively no matter how painful it is. Needs to be simple in the back. Pressure from the front 3. LBs stay at home. Give up some points. allow them time to make their own mistakes instead of hitting home runs every drive. Vance knows better, Charlie knows better. Based on Tech, TCU and Cal last year, Charlie hasn't learned. Still think they can out athlete these teams. Make them play and run clock, substitute liberally during the drive.
