The metallic decal helmets were absolutely perfect for those who wanted to make a statement yet respect our tradition. It's a travesty that they're only going to be for one game. Just shows you how out of touch these oil money old-school boosters are. I heard that Texas has the option to be like Oregon and get alternate jerseys whenever we want, but the administration would never let that happen. Not that I'd support anything gawdy, but having a surprise black jersey for one huge game (like against TCU) would be dope. Damn shame.

I'd love to see an all black uni on Thanksgiving and I'm totally for traditional unis. Just think it would be cool once in a while.

Yancy looks good though when he gets a chance. I think Taylor is the difference maker, but this will be a good opportunity to play some team ball. They did a great job of that tonight. Defense is stifling, and when they get the ball moving, they can score. Just need Turner and Ridley to attack the basket.
