That's what surprised me he didn't most of all We would rather get in a 2 point contest with warriors than 3s but he and others stuck to the 3 point line the 2s were their and less likely to be highly contested

I think he will try to that more if his shot isn't falling next time they play. He said the same thing in post game. @twan83 I may have missed it in the game thread, but what'd you think of the game?

I wonder if Steph didn't have the legs, or it could just be that San Antonio gave him a look he's not used to and took away what he likes to do. It seems they tried to force him to his right off the 3pt line and then closed in with a second defender on his shooting hand side, so he couldn't get a shot off. Then when he would get to the lane, they crowded him and the passing lanes. It was a good effort from the Spurs, good effort/poor execution from the Warriors as well.

He did say in post game he should of drove more and as far as the game goes it was a good game but overreaction on both sides

Warriors concern is when shots ain't falling who gonna step up and Diaw is a bigger factor than lma to me cuz of his versatility and high iq of how he beats u

Great analysis. I think Diaw is a huge X factor for you guys, especially when we go small. If he plays like he did on Saturday we're gonna have an extremely tough time. He is too skilled or big for most of our defenders. He was giving Barnes that work.

Diaw is what got us to get over hump with Okc anytime we face them besides kawhi of course and what got us that record beat down in NBA finals
He was the blueprint u guys used for ur chip and small ball line up of death which was quoted saying from ur team
He and draymond are very similar the difference is draymond has a higher ceiling if he used Diaw move set with his

Look at this way dray is a better rebounder and 3 point shooter
I say they equal on assist but with Diaw being more craftier
Dray is better defender

Diaw iq which I feel is higher will use his fat ass body to punish u in the post and live in the post if possible cuz majority times will win that battle then he will score on u or make a better pass and has great footwork and will only take a 3 or jump shot only if it's needed or has a high success rate he is a pass first guy and post guy

If dray would add that to his skill set and post more with his big ass frame and become more efficient doing post and we know he can assist damn well and shoot the 3 he a walking triple
Double imo problem could be it might not work with the system u guys run but I could be wrong


On a side note I don't know how much a factor lma is in general against u guys cuz over the years it was more of kawhi and Diaw being the X factors with Danny defense his offense is a bonus I need to see more of him to see what happens and if it's a big matter too us cuz of the way u guys play and matchup everybody can't be a X factor so that's y I feel Diaw is and need to see more of lma too see if he turns out to be a bigger one
